You will be resolving a variety of user difficulties from quick 5 minute calls to 45 minute fault resolution issues. This is a varied role but you must be prepared to work in a helpdesk environment without desktop work. Some in-house training will be given but ideally you will work with little supervision.

HP OPENVIEW SERVICE DESK ADMINISTRATOR

HP Openview is a tool used by a number of helpdesks to manage all incidents, problems and requests generated by large end user sites. Your role will be to implement and modify all improvements to the HP Service Desk system besides carrying out day to day support. This will include configuring and tailoring the HP Service Desk systems to match internal processes, policies and procedures. This is a specialised hands on technical role which requires a thorough knowledge of helpdesk and ITIL best practice processes. Ideally you will have a minimum of 4 years experience plus good experience of data analysis using crystal reports and Microsoft Excel. Your duties will also include undertaking all Change Management processes. This is an excellent opportunity to use all your helpdesk knowledge in a developing and fast paced environment.

An interesting contract has arisen within a large end user for an experienced installation engineer. You will be providing software installation services to a number of client sites plus providing follow up operational support and maintenance. This is a mobile technical role on the desktop element of a large project. It is also a client facing position so you must be comfortable with dealing with all levels of users and be able to log and track any subsequent faults as they arise. This position offers excellent prospects for a longer term contract if the work is performed well.
